A firm favourite with locals, the Lymm Charity Beer & Gin Festival is a massive highlight of the village calendar. Taking place in Lymm Village Hall over a Friday and Saturday in July, the event offers 40+ carefully sourced ales and ciders, alongside a fantastic selection of gins courtesy of Lymm Ladies Circle, good hearty grub and brilliant live music.
Every pint poured helps local good causes, with funds raised through a small entry fee and very reasonably priced food and drink. There are also some great opportunities for local businesses to get involved and show their support by sponsoring a barrel or even the entire event.
Since its launch in 2011—thanks to the brilliant idea and hard work of former Chairman Chris Stephens – the festival has firmly cemented itself in the community. It’s a fantastic weekend that we always look forward to, and it’s definitely a date to pencil into your summer diary!
